About me

Hi!

I'm Katherine, a 23 year old mother of one.

Meet Darren & Mia, my O'Hana.

I am currently a student or Counsellor in training (if you want to be fancy) working with and training under the person centred model of therapy. (good ol' Carl Rogers eh!)

I am currently unemployed (i know, i know, scandalous!) I'm on a full time degree, leave me alone.
I have to say, looking after my category 5 tornado of a child is damn hard work.
Young mums, I feel you. It's damn hard to have a child, look after a house, work/train and manage to find five minutes to use the bathroom in peace!

But, i try my best.

I started this blog, in January (because who doesn't want to try new things during the first month of a new year?) to document my year, the year that has a lot of changes coming... I will finish my first year doing something academic, which if you know me, you know i am so far from being academically inclined.
I am continuing to learn how to look after a tiny person who has my terrible attitude, yes my darling daughter, you!
I get a spotty side kick in March, (my dreams are finally coming true!) My adopted fur baby, Digit comes to live with us! ... That should be fun!
and i become a Mrs! I am doing something very adult this year and marrying my chosen human or bestfriend as some would say. (I'm sorry as much as he's seen my most undignified moments and all, we all need that special lady in our lives who we can actually say "this is my bestfriend")

So, a Daughter, a Dog and a Future Husband... life seems grand at the moment, but i'm sure 2018 will throw a curve ball in.. I'll probably trip over my wedding dress.
