WE GOT MARRIED

Hi, Hello!

Well, as the header says; WE GOT MARRIED!

It was stressful, exciting, horrendous and magical. But mostly stressful and horrendous.
We had alot, ALOT of input from My family in-particular so much so it didn't really feel like our day.
Every detail whilst kind of being my idea wasn't really. My dress: not mine. Our venue: not really mine but kinda. Our theme: not ours. Our Wedding date: not ours. Our colour scheme: not ours.

You get it...

While I'm not ungrateful and honestly, without my family it wouldn't have happened, I just wish I was allowed more control of it.
I didn't get My own dress, I wore My mums which was amazing - It was hand made by my grandma for My mum when she got married 25 years ago. But it's pink. Pinks not really my jam. However, I'll give it its time, it was pretty cool.

We wanted a chilled toned down wedding, I personally wanted to run away for a Gretna Green wedding. Oh my dream. Simple, minimal guests, no stress and its just for us.

My mum had other plans, I dont mind now but it was touch and go for a little while and the wedding, apart from the reason we decided to get married didn't really interest me much. I can be simple in what I like or want.

If you're getting married, do what makes you happy. Luckily I dont regret it but I do wish I had more control.
